The interior design studio and bespoke soft furnishings atelier Yamadeco was created by Polly Grosset in the Chamonix valley in 2012.

A passionate creator since childhood Polly opened Yamadeco in 2012 following a 15 year career in finance. Quite a change! Polly is bi-lingual and has been resident in Chamonix since 2010.

Yamadeco was initially a small workshop manned by local seamstresses making curtains, cushions, headboards and anything else fabric related you can think of.

Due to an ever increasing workload in 2016 we partnered with a large atelier in the centre of France whose machinery and technical skill enabled us to offer a much wider range of products, with shorter lead times and better pricing without compromising on quality.

This enabled us to focus more time on our interior design projects building a wide network of furniture and lighting suppliers to add to the portfolio.

We now have a wide network of local tradespeople and a little black book of europe wide suppliers which enables us to delivery unique beautifully designed projects.
